Language points
Do you mind…？你介意……吗？
eg：Do you mind turning down the radio？
你介意把收音机关小一点吗？
mind是及物动词，意为“介意”，其后常接动名词形式作宾语。
Do/Would you mind…? 你介意……吗？在回答时，如果表示不介意，常用以下句子：Of course./Certainly not.当然不介意。Not at all.一点儿也不介意。
Which引导的定语从句
Which引导的定语从句修饰的是无生命物体，which在从句中可以做主语，也可以作宾语。
Who引导的定语从句
如果先行词指人，那么定语从句的引导词就可以用who。如果先行词指人，引导词在从句中充当宾语，那么引导词就要用who 的宾格形式whom,口语中也可以用who代替。例如：
例：我给在部队里碰到的战士们拍了一些照片。
I took some photos for the soldiers whom I met in the army.
定语从句中引导词的省略
不管定语从句修饰的是人还是物，只要引导词在从句中作宾语，就可以省略。例如：
(1) Did you go to the talk (that/which) the famous scientist gave at your school?
(2) Is that the car (that/which) you bought last mouth?
(3) A friends is a person (who/whom) you know very well and like.
引导词在从句中作主语不能省略，否则会造成结构混乱。请看以下例句：
I’d love to have a teacher who is good at speaking.
He can make lessons that are usually boring interesting.
